Legal Notice
Identification, institutional independence, intellectual property and informational scope of Costa Rica Hub.
Website identification
Last updated: August 31, 2026. Costa Rica Hub, available at thecostaricahub.com, is an independent editorial portal founded and edited by Brandon Barquero, who is responsible for its published content. Its general contact is [email protected].
This notice describes the project in its current form. Before offering e-commerce, paid subscriptions or contracted services, any additional business identification and information required by applicable law will be published.
Institutional independence
Costa Rica Hub is not a Costa Rican government institution and does not represent SINAC, the Ministry of Finance, CCSS, Judicial Branch, National Registry, municipalities, universities or other named entities. Official links and names help readers verify information.
The appearance of a company, destination, platform or institution does not imply sponsorship, partnership, certification or endorsement unless expressly stated.
Nature of content
Publications are informational and educational. They are not official advertising, a contractual offer, professional advice or a guaranteed result. Each person must verify requirements, risks, prices, hours, weather and the competent authority’s decisions.
Volcanic, road, park and outdoor conditions can change quickly. Instructions from authorities and on-site staff always take precedence.
Authorship, trademarks and licences
Original text, design, organisation, code and other elements are protected by intellectual-property law. Third-party material is used under licence, authorisation or lawful limitations and retains its respective ownership.
Costa Rica Hub branding may not be used to imply affiliation. Third-party marks and logos belong to their owners.
Corrections and claims
You may request a factual correction or report a possible privacy, authorship or trademark issue by email. Include the URL, description, grounds and sufficient evidence. We will review in good faith and may temporarily withdraw material while checking it.
A request does not guarantee removal where use is authorised, original, public-domain, licensed or otherwise permitted by law.
Applicable framework
The portal operates with reference to Costa Rican law, including personal-data protection, intellectual property and, where applicable, consumer and e-commerce rules. Rights and remedies under mandatory law remain unaffected.
