Legal information
Terms of Use
Terms applying to Costa Rica Hub content, tools, links and responsible use.
Acceptance and scope
Last updated: July 27, 2026. By browsing Costa Rica Hub, you accept these terms where applicable. If you disagree, you may stop using the site. Mandatory law and non-waivable consumer rights prevail over incompatible language.
The portal provides free editorial information, orientation guides and calculation tools. It currently sells no products, processes no payment and enters no professional-services contract through the website.
General information, not advice
Content is not personalised legal, immigration, tax, accounting, employment, financial, medical or other professional advice. It does not replace a decision, certificate, appointment, fee or instruction from the relevant authority.
Before an important decision, verify the current official source and seek professional advice where appropriate. Reading or emailing Costa Rica Hub creates no attorney-client, adviser-client, fiduciary or representation relationship.
Accuracy and currency
We aim to research, date and link sources, but laws, charges, hours, access, exchange rates and natural conditions may change without notice. We do not warrant that all content is complete, applicable to your case or error-free.
We may correct, expand, withdraw or reorganise material at any time. Report an error by email with the URL and relevant evidence.
Tools and results
Calculators produce estimates from your inputs and programmed rules. Rounding, caps, exceptions, dates, classifications or legal changes may create differences from an official result.
Exchange data comes from a public Ministry of Finance API and may differ from the price, fee or availability offered by a bank or merchant. You are responsible for checking inputs and confirming results before use.
Permitted use
You may browse and share links, print a copy for personal use and quote reasonable excerpts with source identification. Without permission, you may not reproduce the portal at scale, republish complete articles, remove authorship notices, sell content, build a substitute database or claim Costa Rica Hub material as your own.
Attempts to compromise security, introduce harmful code, overload the service, bypass controls, collect third-party personal data or automate access in a way that harms availability are prohibited. Ordinary search-engine indexing remains subject to published technical directives.
Intellectual property and images
Original design, selection, text, code and brand elements belong to Costa Rica Hub or are used with authorisation, licence or another lawful basis. Images associated with Pexels, Unsplash, Pinterest and other sources retain the terms of their respective rights holders. Pinterest is identified only as a discovery or provenance platform where applicable, not as a general usage licence.
External trademarks, logos and institution names belong to their owners. Descriptive mention does not imply sponsorship, association or endorsement.
External links and services
External links are provided for reference. We do not control their availability, security, content, prices or policies. A link is not automatic endorsement, and use of an external service is governed by its own terms.
Availability and liability
The site is provided as available and may be interrupted for maintenance, failure, security or circumstances outside our control. To the extent permitted by law, Costa Rica Hub is not responsible for decisions based solely on general information, estimated results or external content.
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded, restricts non-waivable rights or shifts consequences of wilful misconduct or gross negligence where law provides otherwise.
Changes, governing law and contact
We may update these terms to reflect changes to the site or law. The published version states its date. If a provision is invalid, the others remain effective to the greatest possible extent.
These terms are interpreted under Costa Rican law, without prejudice to applicable protective rules. Email [email protected] with questions, corrections or content requests.
