Conchal is an inlet under two kilometres long. The shell fragments that give it its name are especially concentrated along part of the shore rather than forming an identical surface end to end.
The beach feels exposed and bright, with limited natural shade in several sectors. Water colour changes with sun, sediment, tide and swell; a clear-water photograph does not describe every day.
