Access and transport
The entrance is at the end of Manuel Antonio village, about 7 km from Quepos. Local buses serve the area; external car parks are privately operated.

How to understand this destination
“Manuel Antonio” may mean the park, village, tourism road or several beaches. Manuel Antonio Beach is inside the protected area; Espadilla is outside; Espadilla Sur depends on open park routes.
The value is not simply swimming: coastal forest, trails and wildlife viewing form one experience. Feeding animals changes behaviour, while exposed food and bags create avoidable encounters.
